Estonia update

Apparently, Estonia gets a fair amount of good press for its high economic growth and low taxes. But this image hides the country's darker side: the country has the highest incarceration rate, the highest HIV prevalence, and the lowest male life expectancy in the EU.

Estonia has also gotten on Russia's bad side. The parliament is considering tearing down a statue honoring Soviet soldiers in World War II, since many don't recall fondly the Soviet Union's often-brutal occupation. Russia, however, is still very proud of its role in defeating Germany in the war and thinks Estonia should be too.
