Lebanon: President? What President?

Lebanon still hasn't found a new president. The Economist has what is probably the best summary of the situation. Robert Rabil, of the Washington Center on Near East Policy, goes into more depth on the main players involved. The Council on Foreign Relations has an interview with Mohamad Bazzi, a former Middle East correspondent for Newsday, which can clarify some things from the above. ISN's Dominic Moran suggests that Michel Suleiman, the head of the military, is going to be the new guy, in what would would be a victory for the anti-Syrian parliamentary majority.
