The Foreign Policy blog points out that with the sale of Anheuser-Busch to Belgium's InBev, Coors, Miller, and Bud are now all foreign-owned. PBR now becomes the top American brewery, but the brewing for all of its beers is now oustourced to South Africa's SAB Miller.
That means the top four truly American-owned brewers are now:
1. Boston (Sam Adams)
2. Yuengling
3. Sierra Nevada
4. New Belgium (Fat Tire)
That's a pretty respectable list.
